If there ever was a brunch worth getting really painful sunburn on your shoulders for, it’s this one. Terra Plata’s rooftop garden and Spanish breakfast makes us slather on the aloe vera and do it all over again. This place also makes eating potato chips (with white truffle salt and pecorino-chive creme fraiche) before 11am not only acceptable, but also entirely necessary. If you can’t scrape yourself out of bed for brunch, you’ll want to scrape yourself out of bed for Monday paella nights.

Tallulah’s is one of the best - and most attractive - places to eat brunch in Cap Hill. Bring someone who won't mind you taking pictures of your eggs.
The Lookout is a dive bar in Capitol Hill with surprisingly good fish and chips and a great view.

Herb & Bitter is a classier bar in Northern Cap Hill. The patio is great, and the tapas are good too.

Tarsan I Jane is a Spanish restaurant serving dinner and Sunday brunch - both of which you have to buy tickets for. Both of which are worth it.
