As you probably know by now, all Seattle restaurants and bars are temporarily closed for dine-in service. Things are changing quickly, but we do know that new restaurants are getting into takeout and/or delivery, and others are offering new specials. Even though we can’t go to restaurants and eat there, we can support them (and eat something great) by ordering their food. This Vietnamese spot on Bainbridge Island is doing bottles of wine and sake for pickup, along with their full menu for takeout. Check their Instagram for more information.
From 12-8pm, Bruciato is offering delivery of their excellent Neapolitan pizzas for the first time. You can order online through their website.
You can order family meals for two or four people from this upscale Bainbridge Island staple. They’re available from Wednesday-Sunday, 3-8pm, and you can expect things like roasted chicken, pork chops, and organic vegetables. They’re also offering a CSA box, available for $100. We’re usually stopping at this Bainbridge Island sandwich shop for a club sandwich or pastrami on rye. Now, they’re operating as a burger joint called “Sacka-Burgers,” serving classic smashburgers, homemade veggie burgers, fries (including fried oyster mushrooms and asparagus), funnel cake, and soft serve. Addo has launched a few different pickup/delivery programs. There’s Addo @ Home, which consists of a weekly-updated menu of three meals per person plus a bottle of wine for $90. Addo Pantry is another program that includes a la carte items like lechoncito pork and rice, hot sauce, smoked salmon, and stocks. Both of those options are available for delivery as well. The third program is called Addo For The People, where you can purchase $9 meals (like pork and rice, pasta, or soup and sandwiches) and/or $4 children’s portions available either for yourself or for donation to those in need. Alison's Coastal Cafe & Bakery
This little coffee shop and bakery launched “The Coast At Home” program, which involves dinners priced out per serving and add-ons like take and bake cinnamon rolls. You just have to order before 3pm one day in advance, delivery happens between 2-4pm within 10 miles of the Cafe for a $10 flat fee. Check their Instagram for more information.
Asadero, the Mexican steakhouse we go to when we want both filet mignon and tacos, is selling a steak and wine dinner for two. It comes with a choice of some high-quality cuts of meat (ultra or A5 wagyu steak), rice, guacamole, Nutella flan, and a bottle of red wine. It’s $139 or $189 based on the cut of beef you pick - call the restaurant at 206-659-4499 to place an order.
Every Sunday, this French spot in Ballard serves a takeout family dinner - but now they’ve expanded that program to Thursday through Sunday. They’re also selling various pantry items like jars of foie gras, packages of butter cookies, and their incredible smoked cherries that will improve your at-home Old Fashioned big time. Delancey has transformed their dining room space into a wine shop - they’re open selling bottles from 3-9pm every day. For more information, head to their Instagram.
Gracia’s a good choice for an at-home date night, thanks to their delicious green chicken enchiladas and tasty roasted salsas. Takeout and delivery are available Friday through Saturday, between 12-6pm, and Sunday from 11-5pm. In addition to their special to-go menu, you can preorder family-style meals online (complete with free meals for kids), too.
Joli is offering a takeout menu full of things like burgers with duck fat fries, fennel sausage flatbreads, salads, and soups. They’re also selling $75 family meals, and large-format cocktail kits - each kit makes anywhere from 10-25 drinks, which should make for an enjoyable weekend with your cat. This Ballard brunch staple is doing a $10 breakfast burrito special with a few filling options, from pork belly and kale to mushrooms and kimchi. In addition, they’re selling homemade bagels and pantry items like quarts of soup and ready-to-cook bacon.
This new Mexican restaurant has started doing $35 family dinners involving a type of protein like wagyu birria or cochinita pibil with spanish rice, black beans, salsa verde, chicory salad, and a dozen homemade blue corn tortillas. You also have the option to add on slices of vanilla-frosted chocolate cake or chocolate chip cookies. Order by 4pm for two pick-up timeslots (5pm and 6:30pm). This Sri Lankan cocktail bar has started doing delivery for the first time (only to northern Seattle), as well as a Sunday-only Kerala fried chicken dinner. San Fermo started what they’re calling a “Saturday Market” where you can buy dinner kits to make dishes like saffron spaghetti bolognese, chicken cacciatore, rapini lemon risotto, and more. Just preorder on Fridays over the phone (206-342-1530) from 12-6pm for a Saturday pickup between 12-4pm.
Our favorite deep dish spot is delivering beer and wine in addition to their massive pizzas. If you want to pickup, they’ll also fill your growler with one of their beers on tap.
This excellent pizzeria has momentarily paused on pizza for the time being, and instead, is doing pick-up lunch options from Tuesday through Friday, between 1-3pm, with a menu that changes daily (but always includes their delicious fried risotto balls). To place your order, click here.
Homer is starting “Homer At Home,” which will involve lunch and dinner takeout specials as well as staples for your pantry like sourdough bread, hummus, yogurt, and cookie dough, available Tuesday-Sunday. This Filipinx restaurant is offering pickup-only dishes like pork rib adobo, mung bean stew, sinigang with shrimp, and grilled chicken brined in lemongrass and Sprite. This bar already was selling bottles of natural wine, but now they’re offering some pantry items like Sea Wolf bread, homemade focaccia, tinned fish, mustards, jarred tomatoes, crackers, olive oil, pickles, and a few perishable snacks to store in the fridge like cheeses, white bean dip, and tuna butter with radishes. John Howie Steak
John Howie Steak is a steakhouse from the team behind Seastar, and they’re offering a bunch of different options to make sure you’re stocked on meats. There’s a condensed, curbside menu if you just want one dinner, or butcher boxes complete with around six different cuts of meat that could include anything from prime chuck to chicken sausage. They’re also offering cocktail kits and bottles of wine - you can head to their website to learn more.
From 4-7:30pm, this upscale seafood spot in Bellevue is offering curbside pickup if you’re planning a date night in, with things like their delicious Dungeness crab bisque, cedar plank salmon, and filet mignon. They’re also offering 50% off all bottles of wine that cost less than $150.
This Italian cafe and bakery is selling their pastries and coffee to go, but they’ve also started doing three-course takeaway dinners, involving everything from homemade pasta to seared scallops. Stay updated on their Facebook page.
Jerk Shack introduced $11 microwavable and kid-friendly meals like gumbo, jerk ribs, Jamaican curry chicken, and more. There’s a five-meal minimum if you buy, but you can order up to 20 meals at a time. Stay updated on their Instagram.
This excellent beer bar in Belltown is offering weekly provision boxes containing things like fresh produce, wine, beer, sourdough bread, compound butter, cookie dough, and more. Each box is around $90 and has a theme - like “connection.” You can place your pick-up orders here.
Petra Mediterranean Bistro
In addition to pick-up and delivery options, this Mediterranean restaurant is also offering things like huge containers of tahini and za’atar. You can order a meal or some pantry items online.
One of best sushi spots in town is doing takeout for the first time, offering a couple different options like a $35 salmon combo that includes five pieces of nigiri and a six-piece roll and a chirashi bowl with seven different types of seafood. Check their Instagram for more information.
Wa’z is doing a couple different bento boxes for pickup, like braised tofu and beef, chicken karaage, grilled black cod, or braised pork belly. For the first time ever, you can get Birrieria’s incredible, consume-covered shredded beef and cheese tacos delivered with a $30 minimum purchase. The delivery window stretches as far north as Everett and as far east as Redmond. Call the restaurant at 253-259-9465 for more information.
Bateau has a few different family-style takeout options - a $50 dinner for two, a la carte items available like side dishes, bone broth, and pickles, and a $30 kit complete with everything to make two Bateau burgers at home.

Elysian Brewing Company
This brewery on Capitol Hill is selling a produce box of lettuce, grape tomatoes, red onions, broccolini, yellow potatoes, mini sweet peppers, English cucumbers, and asparagus for around $30. And if you’re up for some baking, you can add a beer bread-making kit, which has all of the ingredients (plus some extra flour) to make one lager-infused loaf. Frankie & Jo’s is offering free delivery to anywhere in Seattle - you just have to order five pints of their vegan and gluten-free ice cream for $80. Go to their website for more details.
At Harry’s, you can also get a pasta-for-two special - just choose a type of sauce (braised leek and rabbit or beef bolognese) and it comes with uncooked pasta, a salad, and a bottle of wine for $40.
Hot Cakes, a bakery known for molten lava cake, launched a new dessert delivery program called Birthdays Don’t Stop. Their online ordering operation allows you to order cookies, take-and-bake molten cakes, jars of caramel sauce, entire layer cakes, and even candles and birthday cards.
From noon-6pm, you can order homemade bread, bottles of wine, and frozen pelmeni dumplings from La Dive. For orders over $75, they’ll provide free delivery - all you have to do is head to the link on their Instagram.

Meet Korean BBQ on Capitol Hill is teaming up with Chan for takeout - there are sliders and chili caramel wings available as well as rice bowls and a pre-set Korean BBQ spread of grilled meats and banchan.
This restaurant has started serving three-course takeout dinners, with each meal themed by country, like Morocco or Bulgaria. They’re also selling various raw marinated meats you can buy to grill or cook at home. For more information on both options, head to their website.
Making ramen broth from scratch is a great cooking project - but if you won’t be able to sleep knowing that a pot of bones is simmering on an open flame all night, Ooink is offering a great shortcut. This ramen shop above the Broadway QFC sells at-home ramen kits, which come with a pint of beef shoyu broth, an egg, bamboo, pork chashu, scallions, and homemade noodles. From 5-9pm, Plenty Of Clouds is offering an expanded takeout menu with the option of a no-contact window if you place your order online. Plus, they’ll be serving grab-and-go items from 12-9pm, and will be offering a service industry discount of 25%.
If you’re avoiding meat and dairy, Plum Bistro has launched nightly themed vegan family meals (like taco Tuesday, Friday burger night, BBQ picnic, and even brunch) in addition to selling bottles of wine and certain favorites from their menu a la carte. Check their website for more information.

Surrell is the newest restaurant on Capitol Hill. Their menu changes every week, but you can expect things like smoked half chickens, roasted pork shoulder, and red wine-braised shiitakes. This brand new Japanese spot specializes in different types of katsu, is currently offering takeout. They’re also doing something called “Project Snacks,” which means from 6pm on, anyone in need can buy a meal for only $1. Tarsan I Jane, an outstanding Spanish tasting-menu spot in Fremont, is offering a $49 paella kit for pickup, which includes the ingredients to make calamari and mushroom paella, kale salad, a savory pastry appetizer, and chamomile pudding for dessert. They’re also offering a similar $60 kit for nationwide shipping, where you can choose between calamari and pork. Panino Taglio is a new restaurant that just opened from the Bruciato and Bar Taglio team. They’re serving whole take-and-bake pies, pizzas by the slice, as well as a bunch of pantry goods like housemade pickles, preserves, ferments, fresh ricotta, pasta, and cured meats. Tapas Lab is open for takeout and delivery, and serves some of the best bulgogi in town (in pincho form with garlic aioli and parmesan). You could order a bunch of these and pop open a bottle of sparkling wine at home, but they’re also serving some new menu items like bulgogi cheesesteaks, wagyu sliders, and spicy pork rice bowls.

We’ll look forward to a day when we can once again sit at Archipelago’s tasting menu counter snacking on pandesal rolls, but until then, this incredible Filipino spot is selling a big “Balikbayan Box” for pickup. It contains everything you need to make either a fish or pork dinner, as well as some extra produce and some other “special surprises.” Plus, percentages of sales from each box are going directly to the Filipino Community Of Seattle’s senior meal program. You also can get a box (or bottles of homemade juice, wine, and hard cider) here, but make sure to order early - they sell out quickly, and often.

This upscale Italian restaurant in Kirkland is beginning a program called “At Home With Cafe Juanita.” They’re offering a rotating selection of menu pickup items with reheating instructions available for ordering on their website. Items include fresh pasta and sauces, pantry staples like homemade bread and crackers, polenta, pints of gelato, and bottles of wine.
Deru has started their own free delivery within a six-mile radius. They’re also beginning a dinner club, where you can have meals prepped for you each week. Check out their website for more info.
Kitanda Brazilian Espresso
We usually head to this Brazilian cafe’s Green Lake location for acai bowls after a workout, but their Kirkland location also has groceries available for pickup. You can head to their online shop to place your order in advance for things like tea, cookies, breadcrumbs, seasonings, baking supplies, and their delicious homemade vanilla bean and pumpkin seed granola.
Toyoda Sushi in Lake City is offering in-house delivery of their delicious raw fish for the first time, from 5-8pm on Wednesday-Sunday. To order, they prefer that you text them at 206-383-8182 around 24 hours in advance, and delivery fees are $10 within three miles and $15 within up to five miles away. Zylberschtein’s is doing what they call a “Nourish In Place” menu that’s available Wednesday-Sunday, 8am-3pm, for delivery or pickup. You can order bagels, bread, soup, salads, and sandwiches, but they’re also selling lox, chopped liver, and pastrami by the pound. To get baking ingredients, instead of going on yet another fruitless QFC run, just order one of Nielsen’s three delivery boxes. On Thursdays, they do a “Baker’s Box” with five pounds of flour, a dozen eggs, a half-gallon of milk, one pound of butter, and four assorted pastries thrown in for fun. On Tuesdays, you can get a “Breakfast Club” package, which comes with Greek yogurt, homemade granola, orange juice, and a DIY cardamom French toast kit. If you’re celebrating something at home, keep The Butcher’s Table in mind. It’s a steakhouse that’s offering curbside pickup Monday through Friday, from 3-7pm. They’ve added a dinner-for-two option to their takeout menu, and they’re also operating as a butcher shop, where you can pick up various cuts of beef. Head to their website for more information.

Bottlehouse’s sister wine bar in University Village has put together a “Pantry List” of ingredients they’re selling to restock your kitchen - the menu has dairy items like eggs and oat milk, produce like arugula and avocado, antipasti like roasted bar nuts and olives, meats like house-cured salmon, smoked chicken, and speck, and various non-perishables like crackers, chips, and granola. You could feasibly buy everything you’d need at the grocery store by placing a delivery order from them.
This ice cream spot in the U District that serves excellent flavors like espresso shortbread, banana nutella, and Korean rice wine, are offering pint delivery for the first time ever. In addition to pints, they’re offering homemade pastries for delivery, too. Check out their Instagram for updates.
This build-your-own-bowl lunch spot in Wallingford is doing breakfast burritos and smoothies, but they’re also operating a pop-up market selling things like produce, spices, dairy, tea, meat, and most importantly, their delicious homemade ranch. You can even buy disposable gloves, paper goods, and cleaning supplies. For delivery, a minimum purchase of $100 is required, but there’s no minimum for a pick-up order. If you can only choose one West Seattle spot to get everything you need, Circa’s a good bet. They’re open for takeout with their regular menu, but they’re also serving frozen quarts of homemade soup, brunch items, and Bloody Mary kits (a liter of vodka, two quarts of homemade Bloody Mary mix, and pickled vegetables for $60). Plus, 5% of sales every Tuesday go towards a local food bank.
This new teriyaki spot has a special $6 chicken katsu sandwich with American cheese, honey mustard, and slaw on Texas toast that you can only get if you order online.
For $15, you can get a pound of fresh pasta from this West Seattle spot (with shapes like pappardelle, paccheri, casarecce, campanelle, creste di gallo, or mafaldine). For an extra $20, you can choose between a few types of sauce they’re selling by the quart - including braised beef and tomato ragu, pomodoro, pesto, mushroom cream, and puttanesca. For the first time ever, Kizuki is introducing ramen kits. Each kit serves five people and comes with five different broths (so you’ll have to fight over who gets which type). It also comes with all of the toppings and noodles you need to make a perfect bowl of fresh soup. This West Seattle Greatest Hit has reopened with a few new family-style options, from taco and slider packs to a full “luau dinner” with kalua pork or tofu poke, sweet rolls with guava butter, mac salad, ginger slaw, rice, and cookies.
