If you’ve been staring at a computer so long that you want to forget that technology exists, head to Iron Horse in Union Square after work. This place feels like it could have existed in the 1930s with a dark wood bar and nature mural that looks like it could’ve been stolen out of an English lord’s home office. They have a Happy Hour that runs until 7pm Monday through Saturday with things like gimlets, rose martinis, and negronis for around $10, which isn’t as good as the prices would have been before computers existed, but it’s a solid deal for anywhere in SF.
