Bouchon Bakery is another spot from the people behind The French Laundry and pretty much every other amazing place to eat in Yountville. There’s usually a line outside, but everything inside is worth it. Our favorite thing to do is grab a few loaves of bread on our way out of Napa, and eat all of them before we get back to the city.

It’s worth making a day trip to hang out and try all the beers at Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma.

Nook is a solidly on-price, reliable neighborhood hang in Russian Hill. Even if they do weird things with granola.
Aside from great coffee, Andytown in the Sunset has great scones perfect for a light breakfast to go with your morning coffee.
The Mill in Nopa is the place you keep hearing about with the fancy toast, and it’s worth paying for, especially to hang out here a little longer.

Jane on Fillmore
Food for the Lululemon crowd, and for us too. Jane on Fillmore finely toes the line between healthy and delicious. If only they were open for dinner.
