Fiorella
Where we've featured it
Considering Fiorella only opened about a month before we all had to quarantine, and it was almost impossible to get into then, we’re guessing there’s a good chance you never got to sit at the tiny Italian Market bar. Fortunately, they’re selling a bunch of fresh pasta for takeout that’s ready to cook. A one-pound bag of rigatoni, mafaldine, or tonnarelli is $12, and you can add basil pesto, cacio e pepe sauce, and sausage ragu by the cup. Place your order for pickup here, and make sure to put it in early (ordering opens at 9am) because they sell out fast.
The people behind Vetri have opened a new spot in the Italian Village. Fiorella is a tiny pasta bar with only 16 seats, and it’s all walk-ins - so you’ll have to wait if you want to get in. The entire menu is just four pastas, three salads, and wines by the glass.
You’ll have to be ready to order as soon as they open up their site at 9am each morning to have a chance at getting any of their products. But if you can make that happen, Fiorella is doing takeout of their handmade pastas by the pound, as well as their sausage ragu and cacio e pepe sauce.
