Fermentary Form doesn’t have normal hours or a listed address, so the only way to know you’re in the right place is the green light hanging above their door. The alleyway door opens kind of randomly (you can find out when they’ll be open on their Instagram), and their tasting room can only fit 50 people at a time. Inside, it looks and feels like a brewery, with barrels stacked against the wall and taps behind the bar, but it technically isn’t one. Although they make beer, it’s brewed elsewhere and then delivered to their front door, where they spend all their time adding yeast and fermenting the beer. The result is several excellent sours that they rotate out every few months.
