Taqueria Al Pastor doesn’t have any tables or alcohol, but it does have some of the best tacos in the city. Stop by this counter-service spot in Bushwick, claim a stool along one of the walls, and have a quick, exceptional meal. The al pastor tacos, with their crispy strips of pork and cubes of pineapple, are a perfectly respectable choice, but we prefer the carne asada. It comes in an abundant heap on a housemade corn tortilla with a big smear of guacamole. Get a few, or go for a volcane if you prefer your tortillas crispy.
