The Best New Sushi In NYC
From splurge omakase spots to a fish market that specializes in salmon, here are our favorite new sushi places that have opened recently around NYC.
Sushi Hatsune in Chinatown makes a chirashi with loads of ikura, pleasantly sweet cubes of tamago, and two different kinds of pickles. It’s chock-full of buttery fatty toro, salmon that’s slightly cured, and rich-and-sweet unagi over perfectly-seasoned sushi rice sprinkled with sesame seeds - it’s a bowl of fish that has exponentially increased our chirashi expectations. If you live in lower Manhattan, this is a sushi spot you should know about.
