Summerly is the rooftop bar at The Hoxton in Williamsburg, and it kind of feels like a J Crew advertisement or an idealized version of Cape Cod. It has potted plants, strings of lights, and floral bar stools, and the view is incredible. The menu has things like a burger, a few different kinds of pasta, and a lobster roll - but the food is mostly average, so we wouldn’t suggest a full meal here. Stop by for drinks on a particularly nice day, and take a few pictures of the Manhattan skyline. You’ll feel like a tourist, but you’ll also have a very nice picture.

Mulberry & Vine
Mulberry & Vine's cheap-ish and healthy platters make it one of our favorite lunch spots in Tribeca. The big and bright space doesn't hurt either.
Root & Bone
Root & Bone in the East Village is Southern food done right. Hit it for dinner, hit it for brunch, hit it for takeout. Whatever you do, just hit it.

The Commodore is bad. Bad because merely looking at the food here will jack up your cholesterol thirty points, and worse because everything is so good that you’ll crave it all the time.
