Peppi’s Cellar is a cocktail bar hidden beneath an Italian restaurant (that isn’t open yet) in Nolita. It’s a big space with brick walls and carpeted floors, and it feels kind of like a cross between an enormous wine cellar and a comedy club from the 1950s. It’s a good spot for a relatively low-key drink with a date, some clients, or a couple of friends who appreciate great cocktails and/or copious amounts of whiskey. Plus, at the moment, not a lot of people know about it.
