Massoni is the restaurant inside the Arlo Hotel from the Dale Talde crew, and it's just a couple blocks from MSG. They serve Asian-Italian fusion - so things like calamari with a big kick, rice balls, and some tasty square Detroit-style pizzas. This place feels way more LES than NoMad, and we’re OK with that. Definitely hit it before your next Knicks or Rangers game.

Somehow, the Blue Ribbon brand’s new spot is just as excellent as its other outposts, despite being in a Midtown hotel. This place is, however, insanely expensive.
The Grill is the revamp of the legendary Four Seasons restaurant, run by the people behind Carbone. It’s very similar, very expensive, and worth it.

Una Pizza Napoletana is a pizza place on the LES that came back to New York after a stint in San Francisco.
A bit more touristy and a bit more parent-y than we remember, but Peasant still has a few home run dishes worth visiting for.
Eataly: La Birreria
We didn't see it coming, but we actually really dig the beer garden on the roof of Eataly. You’ll be hard pressed to find one with a larger variety of good things to eat, and the crowd is much more pleasant up here than in the tourist packed insanity that exists underneath it.
