If you find yourself on the western side of FiDi, the massive floor of vendors inside Brookfield Place should be your first line of defense. There’s a Black Seed Bagels, there’s a Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar, there’s a Num Pang, there’s a Mighty Quinn’s. There are burgers, and tacos, and dumplings, and even some vaguely healthy things. Get into it.

Pier A Harbor House
Pier A Harbor House is one of the best dining al fresco restaurants in NYC, complete with a view of the Statue Of Liberty and a massive outdoor/patio situation.
Schilling is one of very few nice little spots in the Financial District, making their Austrian-Mediterranean blend ideal for either a dad or a date.
The Shake Shack in FiDi might as well be Goldman Sachs’ company cafeteria because it’s essentially right next door and full of suits eating burgers.
