At Hangawi, you take your shoes off at the door. They go in a cubby and you go sit on a pillow on the floor next to a table. Next, you eat food. Korean vegetarian food, to be specific. So if you thought Korean food was all fried chicken and bulgogi, this place will reeducate you. Dinner here isn’t the cheapest, but it also isn’t crazy expensive, and it’s an interesting experience. If you’re taking a vegetarian to dinner near MSG, try this place.
