We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

El Gran Castillo de Jagua

Written by

The Dominican food at El Gran Castillo de Jagua rivals the stuff you’ll find in Washington Heights and Inwood. The sign out front at this casual neighborhood spot on Flatbush Ave has two castle keeps and a curtain wall which we think are meant to defend this spot from people who might expose the secrets of this underrated gem. The pernil here taste like it’s been cooked in its own flavorful pork fat for days and the rotisserie chicken is juicy enough to be a contender for our Roast Chicken guide. Come here for dinner on a casual weeknight and watch whichever sport interests you most with the other two people who chose to stay and eat inside.
