Dianne and Elisabeth is a wine bar and restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen owned by the same people behind one of our go-to spots in this area, The Marshal (they’re also located on the same block). There’s a long bar where work friends share wine and chicken liver mousse while discussing how Ashley needs to stop momming everyone at the office, and a connected space next door with about 10 tables full of dates and small groups having dinner. Nothing is too expensive, the staff is very friendly, and you’ll actually be able to hear the person next to you, despite the Lana Del Rey remixes playing on the speakers. This is a great utility spot in the neighborhood.

Clyde Frazier's Wine and Dine
In truth, without a basketball court and Walt Clyde Frazier's involvement, we wouldn’t be talking about the Wine and Dine. The space is massive, the layout is clunky, but the food is pretty good. If you're a hoops fan, it's a must visit.
North River Lobster Co.
The food at North River Lobster Co. is regrettably mediocre. Then again, we never expected more from a floating restaurant in the middle of Midtown fart-tastic touristville.
Legacy Records is a big restaurant in Hudson Yards from the team behind Pasquale Jones and Charlie Bird. It’s pricey, but worth it.

Bar Bolinas is a Clinton Hill restaurant that is very good for one thing: eating a burger outside.
Blue Ribbon Brasserie
The original Blue Ribbon in Soho, in which you can eat bone marrow, fried chicken, and oysters from a white table cloth at 3am. What a world.
J.G. Melon Downtown
A new J.G. Melon in Greenwich Village, with new owners but the same great burger. MacDougal Street just got instantly better.

Year after year, Esca remains in the conversation of the NYC elite. It’s always jam packed, mostly with the business and commuter crowd.
Taboon is one of the best restaurants in Hell's Kitchen, especially if you get down on Middle Eastern food. But also even if you don't.
