David’s serves mostly-French food in a casual one-room space in the East Village. They have things like steak and tartare and mussels with fries, but you should come here for one of the best burgers in the neighborhood - the two thin, charred patties are covered in American cheese between a toasted sesame seed bun. Ask for extra special sauce on the side, and use it as a dip for the mountain of fries that comes with the burger.
