As the owners of Cremini’s will tell you, Le Marche doesn’t get the same attention as Tuscany or Piedmont, but it should. And after going to this 20-seat Italian spot in Carroll Gardens, you won’t argue with them. Order the Ascolana olives - a specialty of this Italian region - which are deep-fried and stuffed with your choice of fillings. The classic variety with beef, chicken, and pork is best, and it’s one of the best drinking snacks anywhere in Brooklyn. They also serve very heavy entrees like fried fettuccine with bechamel and ragu, but you should come here while you wait for Lucali or Frankies 457, and order the olives and a couple glasses of wine (those are from Le Marche, too).
