This is the little cafe on the ground floor of the Standard East Village where you can grab a drink or a snack any time of the day. In the summer, there’s a big patio for you sit on - but most of the action goes down indoors. Late-night, you’ll find a lot of young people and Europeans shouting their phone numbers to each other over some very loud music. And it somehow isn’t the worst. On weekends, this is a good option if you want something lively but not insane.
