Break Bar is a huge pool hall in Astoria with big screens and projectors throughout the space - but if you’re not interested in watching those (or playing pool), there’s also ping pong, foosball, darts, and arcade games. There’s a full menu of bar food as well, plus good BBQ and Thai food nearby at Strand Smokehouse and Pye Boat Noodle.

"NO MENUS. JUST FISH" is pretty much everything you need to know about this Astoria restaurant.
Trattoria L’icontro is not only awesome, but worthy of a trip to Astoria with a group of your friends. Everything about the space is thoroughly cheesy and overstated, but that’s kind of the whole point. No gimmicks, just really good Italian food and really nice people.

Bonnie's Grill is a great neighborhood spot with a full menu of divey bar food classics. However, we still need better options for wings in the city, and Bonnie's doesn't quite make the cut.
Good Enough To Eat
The Upper West Side may not be flush with noteworthy dining out options, but they certainly have one meal on lockdown – brunch. Good Enough To Eat has been an institution up in these parts for a good 30 years, and a spot we'll happily go to for simple, heavy handed home cooking.
The NoMad Bar
Thanks to the prices, this casual(ish) bar in The NoMad hotel probably isn’t a place that you can afford to visit often. But when you do, eat dessert.
