Banter is an Australian coffee shop/cafe in Greenwich Village, and it’s objectively a very good-looking space. Think of it as Two Hands, but a little more polished. Although that doesn’t mean it’s fancy. It’s casual - a place to stop in and get lunch when you want to hear a few Australian accents. They do breakfast all day, and they have some toasts and bowls of vegetables (including one with soba noodles) if you’re trying to get some vitamins. And if you don’t feel like eating, hang out and have a latte. Or a bloody Mary. (They have a full liquor license.)

Miss Lily’s is a very sceney spot in Greenwich Village where good looking people can go eat spicy, tasty Caribbean food and stare at each other.
What we have found at Blind Tiger is a New York City bar that actually has an extensive microwbrew selection AND excellent food. Unfortunately, the place gets very crowded at times.
