Aliada is a nice-but-still-casual Greek restaurant in Astoria that’s big enough for your extended family or just an army of strollers. There are a bunch of big wooden tables inside (including one that only has a bowl of whole tomatoes on it), but there’s something extremely pleasant about sitting on the sidewalk here and eating a plate of very good octopus and complimentary pita and hummus. Plus, their outdoor seating area is fenced off with herb planters, and over the course of your dinner you’ll probably get some nice whiffs of mint and rosemary.
