But this year, the Noho Italian restaurant is offering an at-home, four-course menu for $95 per person. In case you’re looking for a Sunday brunch option where you can soak up any warmth from the sun, Shalom Japan in Williamsburg is serving a $65 prix-fixe meal on their heated outdoor patio. Each meal comes complete with three Japanese-Jewish-inspired courses (including chocolate banana challah bread pudding for dessert). Instead of venturing to Duane Reade for a $16 bag of chocolates, you could check out this Lower East Side bakery for Valentine’s Day sweets. They’re selling a red wine red velvet cake for two, and heart cookies by the half dozen. Thaimee Love opened in November of 2020 with a six-month pop-up in the West Village, specializing in Thai dishes like pork laab and khao soi with kale noodles and honeynut squash. On Valentine’s Day, they’re serving a three-course menu of mocktails, noodles, a khantoke platter with lots of sai oor, nam prik noom, and sticky rice, and a Thai-inspired fondue dessert.
