Chica is a pretty impressive restaurant if you’re in the mood for the exact opposite of that minimalist, exposed concrete aesthetic we see way too often around Miami. This place is big and has a ton of tables, an elegant bar all lit up with plants hanging over it, and an open wall facing Biscayne Boulevard. But the food - which features a lot of Miami classics like arepas, ceviche, and shrimp - is just okay. It’s also way too expensive. Maybe there’s a place where we’d happily pay $16 for three tiny empanadas, but this isn’t it.
