Serving what they ambiguously identify as “coastal Mediterranean” cuisine, Olivetta is an extremely West Hollywood restaurant on that tiny section of Melrose just before Beverly Hills. And despite what you might assume about the food, given the signs asking you not to take photos and the pink-hued, carnival-tent ceilings, you won’t be upset about a meal here. The pastas are good, and where you should focus your attention - get the lamb Bolognese radiatore and the rye macaroni with kale and sausage. You don’t want to skip the bread, either: This warm, toasted sourdough is absolutely massive, and truly fantastic.
