This kinda French, kinda American, kinda Asian spot on Spring St. is an interesting option downtown, but we’re not totally sure how you should use it. The food is good - including a truly enormous $120 tomahawk steak - but the service is awkward and the metal stools and white tiles feel pretty generic. The meat-heavy menu jumps around a bit, with everything from fantastic chicken liver mousse to beef heart tartare and a pretty straightforward burger. Maybe try it with an adventurous eater for a very casual date or their weeknight Happy Hour.
