The Golden Bull is a steakhouse off PCH in Santa Monica that’s been open on and off for almost 70 years. And things haven’t changed all that much since the start - you can sit in big leather booths and eat things like prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, and creamed spinach. On weekends they have a meat-filled brunch, with $3 mimosas and dishes like rib eye hash and steak and eggs.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib
Lawry’s might be a bonafide chain, but its original Beverly Hills location still has lots of magic.
You wouldn’t want a Manhattan made by a 17 year old, so don’t trust your steaks to one either. Taylor’s Steakhouse has the experience.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
Fleming’s is a very mediocre steakhouse, but has one of the best Happy Hours downtown.
