Chulita is an Oaxacan-inspired restaurant on Rose in Venice with a bright dining room, a nice patio, and menu that’s ... mostly fine. The guacamole is a good bet and comes with giant blue corn tostadas, and the tacos ($7) aren’t bad, either - they’re served with two tortillas, which gives you the option to build one big taco, or two medium-sized ones. It’s a solid spot for a drink and some snacks in the area, but don’t cancel your annual Mexico trip in hopes of scratching that itch here.
