This location of the Bacari local mini-chain is in the thick of things on West 3rd Street, and has one of the best outdoor dining rooms in the city. The small plates are just OK, but you’re really here for the incredible patio. There are huge trees growing out of the middle of the outdoor dining room and lights hanging from every branch, so it feels a bit like you’ve accidentally stumbled into Tinkerbell’s living room.

Esters Wine Shop & Bar
Esters in Santa Monica might be known as that place you drink at before eating at Cassia, but this wine bar very much stands on its own.
For great, interesting wine, and excellent classic French food, Oriel in Chinatown is the place to be.
Augustine Wine Bar
Augustine in Sherman Oaks is the kind of wine bar that makes other wine bars look like they're phoning it in.
