We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

Los Angeles is filled with incredible Thai restaurants, and most of them are currently offering their entire menus for takeout and/or delivery. And let’s be honest - we both know you can’t make panang curry on your own. So put the recipe away and support one of these great spots instead. This list will be consistently updated.

All restaurants featured on The Infatuation are selected by our editorial team. Where To Get Thai Delivery & Takeout In LA is presented by Uber Eats. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, supporting our local restaurant community has never been more important. Uber Eats customers can now give directly to the restaurants they love at checkout. 100% will go to the restaurant. Order now to support. See app for details.

THE SPOTS

Anajak Thai

$$$$
$$$$ 14704 Ventura Blvd

Located in Sherman Oaks, Anajak is a neighborhood Thai restaurant with food worth driving long distances to pick up. Our favorite stuff resides on their seasonal menu, but you can’t really go wrong with anything here. Delivery is available, but if you do takeout, they’re currently selling bottles of natural wine anywhere from 20-50% off.

Araya's Place - Vegan Thai

$$$$ 8101 1/2 Beverly Blvd

This all-vegan spot inside a Beverly Grove strip mall has been around for almost 30 years, and while we’ll always prefer our curry with meat, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t think about their avocado curry more than we probably should. Expect plenty of other vegan highlights through their menu as well. Both takeout and delivery are available.

Order delivery

Ayara Thai Cuisine

$$$$ 6245 W 87th St

If you live in the Westchester/Playa Vista area, you probably already know about Araya Thai. If you don’t, this is the perfect time to get familiar. Since 2004, this family-run spot has been cranking out tremendous Thai classics like khao soi, spicy beef salad, and pad woon sen (stir-fried glass noodles). Call (310) 410-8848 for takeout or delivery.

Order delivery

Bhan Kanom Thai

$$$$
$$$$ 5271 Hollywood Blvd

After plowing through two pints of grocery store ice cream, you’re looking for another option to satisfy your sweet tooth. Head to Bhan Kanom. The classic dessert shop in Thai Town sells everything from imported candy to mini crepes to mango sticky rice, and it can all be delivered right to your doorstep. Takeout also available.

Chao Krung

$$$$
$$$$ 111 N Fairfax Ave

Chao Krung has been a staple on Fairfax for decades, but it wasn’t until a recent revamp that it went from being a neighborhood standby to a place that everybody should be seeking out. The menu is full of standout dishes, particularly when it comes to the curries - the duck curry with pineapple and the kaeng hung-ley (sweet pork belly and pork shoulder) are two of our favorites. Call (323) 939-8361 for takeout; delivery is available on all major platforms.

Order delivery

Jitlada

$$$$
$$$$ 5233 Sunset Blvd.

This East Hollywood institution has been a takeout machine for years, but is now offering free delivery anywhere within a five-mile radius of the restaurant. That means more taepo curry and morning glory salad for you. Oh, and the off-menu Jazz Burger is available, too. Call to order: (323) 667-9809.

Jakob Layman

Lum-ka-naad

$$$$
Thai  in  Northridge
$$$$ 8920 Reseda Blvd

If you live in the West SFV, Lum-ka-Naad is where you should be eating Thai food. The large menu is a bit overwhelming, but you should be concentrating mostly on the section titled “Northern Cuisine” and “Southern Cuisine.” These are the dishes specifically from the owners’ home regions, and they are tremendous. There’s also a second location in Encino. Takeout and delivery both available through their website.

Luv2Eat Thai Bistro

$$$$
Thai  in  Hollywood
$$$$ 6660 W. Sunset Blvd.

If you’re anything like us, you spend a handful of nights on the couch dreaming of Luv2Eat’s crab curry and jade noodles, but never find the energy to drive and pick some up. That’s not a problem anymore, considering this Hollywood institution is now doing delivery as well. Order directly through the restaurant at (323) 498-5835.

Order delivery

Noree Thai

$$$$
$$$$ 7669 Beverly Blvd

For a while, Beverly Grove lacked great Thai options, but that changed once Noree Thai moved in on Beverly Blvd. The sister restaurant to Hollywood’s iconic Luv2Eat, Noree has the same great food as the original, plus takeout and delivery options as well. Delivery available through most major platforms, or by calling (323) 937-3100.

Order delivery

Northern Thai Food Club

$$$$
$$$$ 5301 Sunset Blvd #11

One of our Best New Restaurants of 2019, NTFC serves spicy, fragrant Northern Thai specialties like sai oua (spicy sausage) and tremendous pork larb. Delivery range is 8 miles, so if you live even within a half hour of East Hollywood, you’re probably in the zone. Call (323) 474-7212, or order directly from their website.

The Original Hoy-Ka Hollywood

$$$$
$$$$ 5908 Sunset Blvd.

We love the pad ka prao, som tum salad, and Hoy Ka noodles here, but the fact is, you can’t really order wrong at this Hollywood staple. There’s a back parking lot that makes picking up curbside a dream, but if you want to do delivery instead, they’re on most major platforms.

Otus Thai Kitchen & Coffee

$$$$
$$$$ 1253 N. La Brea Ave

This Hollywood mainstay on La Brea is offering both delivery and takeout from 11am-8pm daily (including their excellent Thai breakfast). They are also open as a marketplace offering fresh produce and Thai beer to-go.

Pa Ord Noodle

$$$$
Thai  in  Hollywood
$$$$ 5301 Sunset Blvd #8

Pa Ord has two locations, both within very close proximity of each other in East Hollywood. To make matters more confusing, the menus are slightly different at each location. So we’ll make it easy on you - go to the original at Sunset and Hobart, because that’s where you’ll find their legendary soup menu (including a bowl of tom yum that’ll change your life). Takeout and delivery both available.

Order delivery

Pailin Thai Cuisine

$$$$
Thai  in  HollywoodThai Town
$$$$ 5621 Hollywood Blvd

There are tremendous versions of khao soi all over town, but few compare to the magic at Pailin. Rich, creamy, and slightly sweet, this is the kind of warm comfort that’ll make sitting inside your apartment all week seem entirely doable. Takeout only, call (323) 467-6775.

Order delivery

Rodded Restaurant

$$$$
$$$$ 5623 Hollywood Blvd

Rodded is an all-around solid Thai restaurant, but if you aren’t ordering the duck noodle soup here, you’re doing yourself a disservice. This beautiful bowl is rich, savory, and not in the least bit oily. It also keeps quite well during transport. Takeout and cash only.

Ruen Pair Thai Restaurant

$$$$
$$$$ 5257 Hollywood Blvd

Ruen Pair has a gigantic menu featuring both Thai staples and rare dishes you can’t find anywhere else in town - ideal for when you can’t decide what you’re in the mood for tonight. That said, the salty egg and turnip omelette should always make it onto your order sheet. Takeout available until 11pm every night, delivery available until 9pm.

The Rustic Spoon

$$$$
$$$$ 4384 Lankershim Blvd

The Rustic Spoon has locations in both Toluca Lake and Valley Village, but only the VV location does both takeout and delivery (within a two-mile radius). But no matter which location you choose, expect healthy, affordable, and very delicious Thai food. Our favorite thing on the menu is the cinnamon chicken curry with roti bread that’s so good, you’ll wonder why all restaurant curries don’t come with a cinnamon option.

Same Same

$$$$
$$$$ 2835 W Sunset Blvd

Same Same was one of the first restaurants in LA to pair Thai food with great wine, and now that we’re all in the middle of a quarantine, it’s a combination that continues to help us through the tough times. For takeout and delivery, order through their website or by calling (213) 273-8424, 4-10pm.

Order delivery

Sapp Coffee Shop

$$$$
Thai  in  Thai Town
$$$$ 5183 Hollywood Blvd

Sapp Coffee’s boat noodle soup is one of LA’s most iconic dishes, and sitting at home while reading a book with a piping hot bowl in front you is something we all need in our lives right now. That said, this Thai Town coffee shop serves plenty of other great things, like jade noodles, red curry fried rice, and sen chan pad pu (pad thai stir fried with blue crab and egg). Takeout only.

Si Laa

$$$$
$$$$ 1128 Robertson Blvd.

When it comes to finding great Thai food in Beverly Hills, your journey will almost always lead you to Si Laa. The family-run restaurant is definitely a bit more upscale (welcome to the neighborhood), but the food tastes excellent, and that’s all that matters for takeout and delivery anyway. Order through their website and use the code CONWINEMENT at checkout for 25% all wine and beer.

Spicy BBQ Restaurant

$$$$
$$$$ 5101 Santa Monica Blvd

Spicy BBQ Restaurant often gets overlooked in the hyper-competitive neighborhood of Hollywood/East Hollywood, but let it be known that this tiny strip-mall spot is serving tremendous Thai food. As the name suggests, BBQ meats are their speciality, and yes, they’re spicy, but we always throw in an order of their khao soi, pork patties, and spicy jackfruit salad as well. Call (323) 663-4211 to order. Takeout or delivery is also available on most major platforms.

Sri Siam Cafe

$$$$
$$$$ 12843 Vanowen St

Open since 1984, Sri Siam is one of the oldest Thai restaurants in LA, and your best bet if you’re craving Thai food around North Hollywood. Their crispy rice salad is the stuff of legend, and if you ask nicely enough, they’ll probably throw in some incredible, off-menu radish cakes to your order as well. Delivery and takeout are both available by calling the restaurant at (818) 982-6161 or (818) 982-6262.

Sticky Rice

$$$$
Thai  in  Downtown LA
$$$$ 317 S Broadway # C-4-5

Both the original location in Grand Central Market and their Echo Park outpost are now offering delivery and takeout, meaning you can get their scientifically perfect beef panang curry right at your door. Call directly at (213) 200-1342.

Summer Buffalo

$$$$
Thai  in  FairfaxHollywood
$$$$ 7275 Melrose Ave

Summer Buffalo has locations in Burbank, Melrose, and Santa Monica, meaning no matter where you live, you’re probably within their delivery radius. We love the tangy Isaan sausage, pad kee mau, and the khao soi, but it’s their rich and creamy tom kha soup that makes the truly tough days feel manageable. Both takeout and delivery available.

Order delivery

Tasty Food To Go

$$$$
Thai  in  Long Beach
$$$$ 2015 E 10th St.

With a name like Tasty Food To Go and a location inside an old house that doubles as a barber shop, this tiny Thai/Laotian restaurant certainly doesn’t lack intrigue. And we can tell you this order-at-the-counter, to-go only spot (owned by the same guy who runs the barber shop) also serves some of our favorite Thai food in Long Beach. Get the panang curry and pad see ew.

Thai Patio

$$$$
$$$$ 5273 Hollywood Blvd

Did you drink a little too much chardonnay tonight on your couch? Just do what we do and order late-night delivery from Thai Patio. The massive restaurant in Thai Town has an expansive menu full of every staple in the book, but their noodles are the star of the show. If a plate of their drunken noodles can’t help your at-home hangover, you were doomed from the start. Takeout and delivery available seven days a week through their website.

Order delivery

The Thai Thing

$$$$
$$$$ 6015 W. 3rd St.

Located on 3rd St. in Beverly Grove, The Thai Thing’s menu has solid versions of everything from papaya salad to panang curry to tom kha soup, but you should concentrate on the “Up To Us” section. This is where you’ll find excellent house specialities like the hi-so wok noodle (vermicelli topped with fried egg and vegetables) and the hidden gem green curry that also comes with vermicelli noodles. Both delivery and takeout are available.
