A Socially Distanced Fiesta For Marvin

Marvito, a casual French bistro from the team behind Marvin in Beverly Grove, are hosting a socially-distanced fiesta to celebrate the launch of their new lunch menu. On Sunday, February 28th, you’ll get access to an all-you-can-eat-and-drink party, including al pastor tacos, ceviche, burria dippers, and birthday cakes, plus all-day tunes by DJ Frankie Inglese. Tickets are $50 and can be bought through Tock.

Zong Zi Sale

There’s a new pop-up in town — in collaboration with Lisa Le Ha, personal chefs Brittany Ha and Lee Pallerino created Zong Zi Sale, a one-day fundraiser selling Chinese sticky rice. Each zong zi costs $5, and comes filled with either pork belly and shrimp, chestnuts and mungbean, or sweet red bean, with 100% of the proceeds going towards StopAAPIHate (a national coalition addressing anti-Asian hate), and Chinatown Community for Equitable Development. Pick-ups will be held on Saturday, February 27th in Glendale and Mid City, donations welcomed.
