Liverpool Street is vaguely controlled bedlam at the best of times, so having a place like Three Uncles that’s slightly hidden, but very nearby, is definitely a good thing. This basic canteen specialises in Cantonese roast meats, roast duck, char siu pork, and Hainan chicken, but also serves low mein and dim sum as well. The roast meats are decent (the chicken is particularly nice) and it makes for a tasty lunch, or quick dinner option, all for around a tenner or less.
