Stem and Glory might sound like a flower shop with a penchant for the dramatic, but it’s actually an all-day vegan restaurant near the Barbican. This place serves the kind of plant-based food that makes you feel like you could run a marathon, or at the very least make it back up the office stairs without having to stop for breath. Think rainbow bowls, jackfruit bao burgers, kimchi pancakes, and a vegan full-English on the weekends. Several of their salad bowls (our choice is the Darwin) are available to take away, and as well as the usual boozy suspects (craft beer, wine, cocktails) there’s also a whole bunch of mocktails and loose leaf teas.
