The sign outside just reads ‘Noodle Bar’, and there’s an unappealing line of bright orange dishes up front. While the first signs might tell you to make a run for it, rest assured that this place does Chinese hand-pulled noodles (la mian) properly. It’s extremely basic in setup - cheap and cheerful cafe interiors, cash-only - but if you just want a delicious, satisfying bowl of noodles, it’s a good call. Go for the roast pork or beef brisket noodle soup.
