Ethos is exactly the kind of place you go to when you want to feel like a good person. But you know, a good looking good person. Like, Gwyneth Paltrow. Or, Evita. This place is meat-free and as the name suggests, they’re all about ethical, healthy-for-person-and-planet dining. During the day they operate a pay-by-weight system on fresh (ahem, expensive) salads, tasty cakes and coffee. But, come evening there’s a full table service and although the menu changes seasonally you can expect an eclectic mix of flavours, from Indian to North African, like aloo scotch eggs or Moroccan tagine, and a lot of aubergine. Yes, the food’s great but so is the space. Imagine a forest designed by Mother Nature, but she’s also a social media influencer on the side. Think, rustic Nordic furniture, live trees sprouting from the floor, foliage aplenty and of course, lots of opportunities for looking good.
