Dinings, the popular and pricey sushi restaurant in Marylebone, now has a second location in deepest, darkest Knightsbridge. This interiors are swankier than those at the original, and as usual, you should really only plan to eat here if you’re very confident about your current line of credit. While it’ll work if you’re looking for sushi in the area, we’ve found the food to be much better at the Marylebone original.

Jugemu is a tiny Japanese restaurant in Soho that feels like you stumbled into .a backstreet cafe in Kyoto. The sushi and small plates are excellent.
Not only is the sushi at Sushi Atelier on Great Portland Street great, it’s also very affordable. Sit at the bar and get the 12-piece omakase.
Cubé is a sushi restaurant in Mayfair with a £75 omakase in the evenings, and a fine whisky/sake bar in the basement.
