Not to be confused with the original Berber & Q (railway arch edition), this casual shawarma restaurant is a laid-back, solid bet for a night of enjoyable middle-eastern eats and cocktails in a cool-looking room. London’s not short of quality kebab restaurants, and if your favourites are in Dalston or on Green Lanes, the existence of this spot probably won’t change anything. But, the food’s good enough to give this place an appeal of its own.
