It’s safe to say that that dough enthusiasm has taken the country by storm, but though there are bags of flour popping up on eBay like the latest Supreme drop, the best kind of dough still comes out of box, hot and ready, covered in cheese and sauce. That’s because pizza is still one of (if not the) best takeaway to get. Here’s a guide to where you should be ordering them in from.

If you’re looking for delivery or collection options to suit a specific mood, read our guide to London’s Delivery And Collection Options For Every Situation, if your home bar (cupboard) is in serious need of a re-stock, we’ve got The Alcohol Delivery Guide, and for a full list of restaurants offering takeaway and delivery, check out our constantly-updated directory.

NORTH

Karolina Wiercigroch

Quartieri

££££
PizzaItalian  in  Kilburn
££££ 300 Kilburn High Rd

We’re a little bit obsessed with the spicy salami La Diavola pizza from Quartieri. And when we say a little bit, we mean a lot. But if you’re not in the mood for something with a chilli kick, you can’t go wrong with ordering their other traditional Napoli pizzas either. They’re based in Kilburn and also have a little deal going on where you can get 2 pizzas for £18.

Pizzeria Pappagone

££££ 131 Stroud Green Rd

For all our fans of mozzarella and alliteration out there, Pizzeria Pappagone is for you. This neighbourhood spot in Stroud Green have been serving their margheritas, pizza alla americana, and classic Hawaii, since the 90s. Heads up, there’s also gelato.

Another Stroud Green neighbourhood pizzeria, La Saporita delivers the kind of food that’s like a warm hug. We’re talking calamari fritti, gnocchi al gorgonzola, and of course, pizza. Their traditional pizze starts at £7.50 for margherita, but they have everything from a 16-inch vegetarian medley to a half-pizza, half-calzone to choose from.

Giulia Verdinelli

True Craft

True Craft is one of those neighbourhood spots that will make you understand the concept of Cheers. Part pub, part pizzeria this Seven Sisters local are now delivering their excellent sourdough pizzas, including our personal favourite, the Bang! Pepper. If mascarpone and sweet balsamic peppers don’t take your fancy, we’re also very into the Nduja Like it. Mostly because it’s tasty but yes, partially because we love a pun.

As well as the option to get their pizza, they’re also delivering things like garlic focaccia, burrata, and tiramisu.

Lost Boys Pizza

££££

Lost Boys is a real mood. They’re a casual Camden pizza joint with a mild vampire theme and moody, charcoal pizzas to match. If you’re thinking that a spot that has something called ‘Fangs For The Memory’ on their menu would be naff, think again, the pizza here is great. They’re also delivering their cocktails and have some seriously good meal deals.

East West

££££ 135 Fortess Rd

If you’re of the strong opinion that a Hawaiian pizza is absolute blasphemy, look away now. Still with us? Good. Because East West might not make the most traditional pizza but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying their creative dishes. This Tufnell Park spot delivers Italian pizza with Indian toppings - think a masala margherita and punjabi quattro formaggio, but there are also some classics on offer if you’re more of a traditionalist.
