Wouldn’t it be great if you could actually order everything off a delivery guide for once? Yes, yes it would. If you eat halal, that mostly isn’t the case. But guess what? You can order everything off this list, because not only is all the meat in these meal kits halal, but they’re also all being delivered across the UK.
THE MEAL KITS

Philly cheesesteak specialists Passyunk Avenue are delivering cheesesteak, wings, and combo bundles all over London. You can choose between provolone, American, and wiz cheese, or - ideally - a mixture of all three.

A Sri Lankan feast is on the cards if you order the Kalupol Chicken Kit from Hoppers’ online store Cash & Kari. At £45, it promises to feed up to four people with mutton rolls and hot dipping sauce, a whole marinated chicken ready to roast, a selection of sambols and garnishes, banana chips, pol roti dough, and two chocolate-coco biscuit puddings to share. There are also a couple of smaller kits centred on a lamb kothu and a paneer kothu respectively, as well as a variety of snacks, spices, beer, and cocktails. Just remember to order before 11pm on Sunday for nationwide delivery the following Friday.
This street food kitchen is now delivering burger kits nationwide. They do a halal version of their double cheeseburger, with turkey bacon, and all kits come with everything you need, down to their signature burger salt. You can place an order here.

Cue Point
You might not have heard of a naco before this sentence, but you’re definitely going to want to get to know them after it. This is because the naan tacos at this British-Afghan BBQ spot are excellent. And they’re delivering their DIY naco kits across the UK. They come with smoked meat - either brisket or lamb - mini naan, toppings like Afghan green chutney, crispy onions, and sour cream - and as well as all that, they also have a vegan naco kit. JKS Restaurants, the group that owns Gymkhana, Trishna, and Brigadiers (amongst others) has launched Ambassador General Store where you can buy individual dishes like tandoori lamb chops, BBQ butter chicken wings, and more dishes or meal boxes from their roster of restaurants.
A go-to for laksa in London, you can now get Sambal Shiok’s signature campur-style curry laksa to make at home. The kit is the equivalent of the special (with both poached chicken and king prawns) and comes with fat rice noodles, fried tofu puffs, bean sprouts, green beans, all in their hot shrimp-based broth. Order here.

Fire up your BBQ or, alternatively, pop to the shop and buy one of those grass-singeing tin numbers, because Berenjak are doing DIY kabab kits. The Iranian spot in Soho has three delicious-sounding at-home kits, including a mazeh box with their excellent freshly made sangak bread, and also a couple of kabab box choices. One of which includes ‘bespoke metal skewers’, which sounds like a collaboration between Nisbets and Savile Row.

Smoke&Bone
Texas-style barbecue restaurant, Smoke & Bones is not messing around with its smokehouse burger box. It has enough for four burgers, each with full halal beef mince, beef brisket, and turkey rashers inside. And if that sounds good to you, you should probably know that you can find wagyu brisket burnt ends covered in barbecue sauce in the meat section of their online shop. Just saying. Order here.
