We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

Plan Ahead: The London Restaurants Reopening Later, That You Should Book Now

Plan Ahead: The London Restaurants Reopening Later, That You Should Book Now

Updated July 29th, 2020

Not every restaurant in London reopened on July 4th. In fact, some of our favourite spots are waiting a little longer until opening their dining rooms again, hand sanitiser and all. That said, it doesn’t mean you can’t get ahead of the game and book in advance. Because the early bird catches the worm. Or, in our case, the focaccia from Noble Rot and a turbot from Brat.

july 29th

  • St John: Both the Clerkenwell and Spitalfields outposts are reopening. Make reservations from July 17th.

  • Pidgin: The Hackney restaurant has been making meals for you to finish at home (Homing Pidgin) throughout lockdown, but will be reopening its doors to dine-in customers on the 29th.

  • Chuku’s: This Nigerian tapas spot in Tottenham had only been open a month or so when the government ordered restaurants to close. They’re back up and running in time for August.

  • Three Little Birds: The Jamaican spot with locations in Brixton and Clapham will reopen late July. Reservations are open from then, or email hello@threelittlebirdsja.com ahead of time.

August 1st

  • Social Eating House: This Soho fine dining spot will be back open for dine-in on August 1st.

  • Pollen Street Social: This slick, casual fine dining spot is good for any kind of occasion and will be back open from the 1st.

  • Frog Covent Garden: The Covent Garden branch of Frog is now the only branch after the Hoxton Square spot closed down for good earlier in the summer. It’s reopening August 1st.

  • Harwood Arms: Beloved Sunday roast spot, The Harwood Arms, will be reopening on the 30th August. In case you don’t have a calendar to hand, the 30th just so happens to be a Sunday. You can book their return roast on their website now.

  • Bocca Di Lupo: A restaurant after our own hearts, Bocca Di Lupo is taking its time and will reopen at the end of the summer.
