Updated July 29th, 2020
Not every restaurant in London reopened on July 4th. In fact, some of our favourite spots are waiting a little longer until opening their dining rooms again, hand sanitiser and all. That said, it doesn’t mean you can’t get ahead of the game and book in advance. Because the early bird catches the worm. Or, in our case, the focaccia from Noble Rot and a turbot from Brat.

Chuku’s: This Nigerian tapas spot in Tottenham had only been open a month or so when the government ordered restaurants to close. They’re back up and running in time for August.
Three Little Birds: The Jamaican spot with locations in Brixton and Clapham will reopen late July. Reservations are open from then, or email firstname.lastname@example.org ahead of time.
Social Eating House: This Soho fine dining spot will be back open for dine-in on August 1st.
Pollen Street Social: This slick, casual fine dining spot is good for any kind of occasion and will be back open from the 1st.
Frog Covent Garden: The Covent Garden branch of Frog is now the only branch after the Hoxton Square spot closed down for good earlier in the summer. It’s reopening August 1st.
- Harwood Arms: Beloved Sunday roast spot, The Harwood Arms, will be reopening on the 30th August. In case you don’t have a calendar to hand, the 30th just so happens to be a Sunday. You can book their return roast on their website now.
- Bocca Di Lupo: A restaurant after our own hearts, Bocca Di Lupo is taking its time and will reopen at the end of the summer.
