34 LA Restaurants Supporting Racial Justice & Equality

LA restaurants have started stepping up and donating a portion of their takeout and delivery profits to national organizations like Black Lives Matter, Reclaim The Block, Campaign Zero, and more. We’ve compiled a list of those restaurants below. We’ll continue to update it, too, so please email us at losangeles@theinfatuation.com with any suggestions.

If you’re looking to order takeout and delivery this week, please also consider doing so from a Black-owned restaurant in LA. Here’s our updated list of over 200 Black-owned restaurants and bars open for takeout and delivery, organized by city and neighborhood.


  • All Day Baby: For the entire month of June, this Silver Lake restaurant will donate 100% of proceeds from apparel sales to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. They’ve also hosted a sidewalk bake sale, where 100% of all profits were donated to Black Lives Matter. Check their Instagram for their latest initiatives.

  • Almond Milk Maiden: 10% of all sales will be split between Black Lives Matter, Black Visions Collective, and The Bail Project. Check their Instagram for the latest.

  • Bloom & Plume: A Black-owned coffee shop in Historic Filipinotown, they’re hosting digital conversations on community action and grassroots organization, in addition to meditations. For more information, check out their Instagram. You can also support them by purchasing their merch.

  • Burgerlords: The Highland Park spot collaborated with artists’ collective Brain Dead to create a special burger, with proceeds going to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Check out their Instagram for their latest initiatives.

  • Dave’s Chillin & Grillin: This neighborhood spot in Highland Park raised $3,000 for Black Lives Matter LA, the Black Business Association’s LA chapter, and more with a cookout fundraiser on 6/11. Check out their Instagram for the latest information.

  • Dudley Market: The Venice fish shack is selling works by local artist Mom Love for the entire month of June, with all proceeds going to the NAACP. Check out their Instagram for more info.

  • Eightfold Coffee: This Echo Park cafe has created a Free Internet Resource Guide with details on Black-owned coffee shops, steps to non-optical allyship, and various nationwide and local fundraisers.

  • Eszett: The Silver Lake spot is donating 100% of proceeds from sales of their new Blood Orange hot sauce to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Gather For Good: Raised more than $26,000 for Black Lives Matter LA and The Gathering For Justice through their Pies For Justice bakesale. Big-name restaurants like n/naka, Rustic Canyon, and All Time contributed, as did several LA independent chefs and bakers. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Hail Mary Pizza: The Atwater Village spot donated 100% of pizza sales to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp, and has been using their Instagram to promote Black artists, activists, publishers, and more. They also announced plans launch several community investment programs.

  • Here’s Looking At You: For the entire month of June, they’ll be donating all proceeds from apparel sales to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. To order, visit their website. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Honey Hi: Echo Park cafe Honey Hi’s owners donated their stimulus checks to Color Of Change. They’ve also donated to The Okra Project, an organization that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people. You can check their Instagram for their latest initiatives.

  • Jame Enoteca: The El Segundo Italian restaurant is donating all proceeds from the sale of a new bucatini all’amatriciana dish to the Equal Justice Initiative. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Jitlada: The iconic Thai restaurant is donating proceeds from their “Jazz Is My LA Mom” T-shirt to the George Floyd Memorial Fund and Black Lives Matter LA. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Lasa: The Chinatown spot is donating a portion of all sales to Black Lives Matter and movement-affiliated organizations. Check out their Instagram for menu and more information.

  • Maury’s: The Silver Lake bagel spot is donating 10% of all daily sales (up to $5,000) to Movement for Black Lives and Black Lives Matter LA. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Mornings With God: 100% of all profits will go to Black Lives Matter, Union Rescue Mission, and Homeboy Industries. Order here, and check out their Instagram for the latest.

  • Mumford Brewing: The Little Tokyo/DTLA brewer is one of 900 breweries in the U.S. and around the world selling specialty beers to benefit the ACLU. Their contribution, called Black Is Beautiful, is an Imperial Stout brewed with coffee and cacao, and it’s available starting June 30.

  • Natraliart: The Jamaican restaurant and market is selling this Black Lives Matter hoodie, made by Shop The Homies, with 100% of the proceeds going to Know Your Rights Camp.

  • Nomadica: The California-based sommelier team is selling a limited-edition run of Pride 2020 cans, with 100% of the profits being split between Black Lives Matter and the Transgender Law Center. Order online, or cans can be purchased at Tabula Rasa.

  • Offshore Tea: Donating 100% of online profits to Black Lives Matter for the entire month of June. Order here, and check their Instagram for the latest.

  • Pearl River Deli: The Cantonese order-at-the-counter spot in Chinatown is donating 100% of proceeds from sales of Baryo’s coconut jam to Black Lives Matter. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Poppy + Rose: This Black-owned cafe in Downtown LA is donating meals to organizations supporting Black Lives Matter. More info on their Instagram.

  • Porridge and Puffs: The Historic Filipinotown restaurant handed out free meals to protestors, and donated proceeds to the Summaeverythang Community Center. For information on their latest initiatives, check out their Instagram.

  • Pretzelette: An Angeleno pretzel-maker, Pretzelette is giving 50% of all June sales to the LA chapter of Black Lives Matter. Check her Instagram for more info.

  • Roberta’s: The Platform’s pizza spot is donating proceeds of all sales to a host of organizations, including Justice For Breonna Taylor and the ACLU. For more information, check their Instagram.

  • RiceBox: The DTLA spot will be donating 10% of sales all week long to organizations like the NAACP, Black Lives Matter, and Campaign Zero. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Senoreata: 20% of every order will be split between the NAACP and ACLU. Order here, and check their Instagram for the latest.

  • Sightglass Coffee: 100% of all profits on 6/6 and 6/7 were donated to the ACLU and ActBlue. They’ve also handed out free cold coffee and snacks to protestors in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Check their Instagram for the latest.

  • Tabula Rasa: Every Tuesday, Echo Park wine bar Tabula Rasa will give their 5% of their proceeds to Black Lives Matter, and their owner will match the total. See more info on their Instagram.

  • Tilda: The Echo Park wine bar has introduced Wine For The People - a program featuring specially priced bottles, with all proceeds going to organizations fighting for racial and social justice, including Black Lives Matter. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Triple Beam Pizza: Both their Highland Park and Echo Park locations are donating 100% of all sales to Black Lives Matter LA. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Woon: The excellent Historic Filipinotown spot is donating 100% of proceeds from sales of their (equally excellent) homestyle goods to organizations supporting Black Lives Matter. For more information, check out their Instagram.

  • Yang’s Kitchen: This modern Taiwanese spot in Alhambra is selling flatware, cutting boards, and vases made by local artists, with 100% of the proceeds going to Black Lives Matter. For more information, check out their Instagram.
