There are a lot of Furious Spoon locations in the city, but this is the original. The Wicker Park space is very small and crowded and plays the same loud rock music as the other locations. The menu is the same too, with ramen that has a rich broth and housemade noodles. Our favorite bowl here is the Furious Ramen, with tonkotsu broth and pork belly. And in case you don’t want to eat in a busy space while listening to Audioslave, this place also does a great job with takeout - everything is packed up separately so you can easily take it to eat in your quiet apartment

Mahalo is a Hawaiian restaurant that hopped on the poke trend. The island vibes are heavy, but the food isn't great.

Kumiko is an upscale cocktail bar in the West Loop with high-end bar snacks and a tasting menu in the basement.
Solid ramen with Wu-Tang and old school H.O.V.A bumping in the background. Ramen-san is ideal for posting up solo with hot food and a cold beer.
