Wine bars are not defined by their food, of course, but it’s always nice when you find one that really cares about the menu nonetheless. Spoke in Davis Square is a place you’ll want to go to not only to try bottles of grapes you’ve maybe never heard of but also to share some really great small plates, like white asparagus with salumi vinaigrette or sunchoke doughnuts. It’s tiny in here, but that just makes things all the more intimate between you and your glass of f*ck-work-the-day’s-over red.
