“Picco” stands for “Pizza And Ice Cream Company.” So you’d be forgiven for assuming that this place is one step up from from a Chuck E. Cheese. But despite specializing in every 12-year-old’s favorite foods, this South End spot is very adult, thanks to one of the neighborhood’s best craft beer selections and a dark dining room that makes it a good choice for an early date. As for the pizza in its name, it’s outstanding, distinguishing itself with a ridiculously charred and crispy crust and great mozzarella. Come here, eat pizza, drink beer, have a scoop of ice cream, and enjoy life for a moment.
