The pizza at Sammataro is more on the well-done side, and reminiscent of the kind you’d find at places like Sam’s Restaurant and Lucali in Brooklyn. It’s definitely not a style you see too much in Austin. The pizza is spectacular - so much so that we before we even finished a slice, we immediately put in an order for another pie.
