Phantasma Kitchen
Where we've featured it

Phantasma - a cloud kitchen concept out of South Austin with exclusively takeout and delivery options - sets itself apart from the local pizza scene by focusing on thin crust Roman-style pizza, a style that we haven’t seen much of in Austin. The pies here - baked in a 900° oven with 72 hour-fermented dough - pair a crispy crust with a firm, but chewy base for the toppings that range from the classic margherita to one with potatoes and pancetta. And if you can handle a little heat, our favorite was the Incarnate - topped with San Marzano tomato, house-made mozzarella, capocollo, hot coppa, spicy sopressata, and peperoncino. Despite not having a physical storefront, they do have an adjoining patio if you’re worried about the pizza surviving the car ride home.

You probably won’t be visiting Phantasma Kitchen anytime soon, but they may be visiting you. They operate out of a commercial kitchen “somewhere in Austin” (but secretly, near South Lamar and Menchaca), selling Roman pizza as well as wings, sandwiches, and salads for delivery. There’s an option for pickup as well, but no storefront for dining in.
