Where we've featured it
This small brewery near Mueller makes a lot of different beers, but Oddwood really excels with their pilsners, IPAs, and saisons. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood spot with plenty of comfortable seating and during normal operations, they even have video games available. Currently, the inside is closed, and there’s limited seating on the patio. The food here is simple, but complements the beers well, with things like calzones and bar pizzas.
The East Austin brewpub Oddwood Ales is selling their house-brewed beers (in four-packs and 32oz crowlers), wine, and their exceptional thin crust bar-style pizza. You can even get broccoli on your pizza so you can say you ate some vegetables. Order online.
Oddwood Ales might be best known for its very good beers (try one of their pilsners or saisons), but they also make one of our favorite bar-style pizzas in town. These thin-crusted, cheesy 10” pies start at just $7, and taste so great at home that we’ve started calling them couch-style pizzas.
The East Austin bar Oddwood Ales has reopened with limited seating on its patio. The pizza’s good, you should order it.
