Juniper is a modern and fancy-ish Italian spot in East Austin that’s surprisingly under-the-radar. The dining room is big and bright, and there’s a nice patio in the front. The menu has traditional pastas, but also small plates and lots of vegetables. It’s a good place to bring parents for brunch (likely without a wait) or to have a grown-up dinner with a friend.
