Irene’s doesn’t fit into one category - it’s a place where you could eat brunch, or dinner, or something kind of healthy, or just drink. Unlike most restaurants that try to be everything to everyone, it actually works at Irene’s. That said, while the food is solid, we like Irene’s best for a morning toast and coffee, or an afternoon cocktail and a snack. The overall atmosphere lends itself better to hanging than it does for full-on meals.
