A cute neighborhood house turned restaurant in Allandale, the all-day-cafe/grocery Epicerie serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday-Saturday, and brunch on Sundays. The menu might not be the longest, but what they do, they do very well (our go-to is the breakfast sandwich or the cured salmon toast). If you need to meet someone for a semi-professional breakfast, Epicerie would be perfect. It’s also great for a low-key brunch on the outdoor patio, or a healthy-ish dinner with a bottle of wine. No matter what you do, get the fried-to-order beignets.
