Charm BBQ Chicken

Written by

The dining room at the Korean restaurant Charm BBQ Chicken in Anderson Mill in North Austin is closed at the moment - so they’re not doing barbecue and instead sticking to takeout of classics like bulgogi and bibimbap. The fried chicken is some of the best we’ve ever had, the battered and fried kind that results in a craggly and shatteringly crispy coating, even when it’s dressed in a sauce. Speaking of sauces, there’s a variety of them, but our favorite was the sweet and spicy yangnyeom sauce. They’ll even sell you plastic deli containers full of draft beer.
